# Jev / System One

> Typed judgments with Jev.

Call `jev-1.13.0` over HTTP with your PipeLLM API key. This native route returns typed judgments. It does not use chat messages or support streaming.

<ParamField body="model" type="string" required>
  `jev-1.13.0`
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="state" type="string | object | array" required>
  Text or application state to evaluate.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="questions" type="object" required>
  Named questions with type and instructions. Supported types: noul, choice and score. Choice and score also require criteria.
</ParamField>

<RequestExample>
  ```bash cURL theme={"dark"}
  curl https://api.pipellm.ai/v1/systemone \
    -H "Authorization: Bearer $PIPELLM_API_KEY" \
    -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
    -d '{
      "model": "jev-1.13.0",
      "state": "The service is reachable.",
      "questions": {
        "reachable": {
          "type": "noul",
          "instructions": "Does the state say the service is reachable?"
        }
      }
    }'
  ```
</RequestExample>

Illustrative response; probabilities and usage vary by request.

<ResponseExample>
  ```json theme={"dark"}
  {
    "model": "jev-1.13.0",
    "answers": {"reachable": {"type": "noul", "noul": 0.99}},
    "usage": {"input_tokens": 300, "output_tokens": 20}
  }
  ```
</ResponseExample>

## Response and billing

Answer keys match your question names. Noul returns a probability from 0 to 1; choice returns an option and distribution; score returns a rating. Confidence is not a guarantee of correctness.

The actual model version and `usage.input_tokens` / `usage.output_tokens` are preserved. Current pricing is **`$0.042 / million input tokens`**, with no output charge. Check the console for current rates.

Malformed requests return `400`. Authentication, balance and rate-limit failures use the [standard error envelope](/api-reference/errors). See the [TypeSafe HTTP API](https://docs.typesafe.ai/api) for detailed question schemas; use the PipeLLM URL and key shown here.
