Chat

Use any id whose type_target matches the route you are calling.
  • OpenAI-compatible models go to POST /v1/chat/completions or POST /v1/responses
  • Anthropic models go to POST /v1/messages
  • Gemini models go to POST /v1beta/models/{model}:generateContent
To keep one SDK and call a model from another family, use a converter route.

Video

Video is not a chat completion. Send the public model name to POST /v2/videos. The first documented video model is seedance-2-0-mini. These aliases resolve to the same model:
  • seedance-2-0-mini (public name)
  • seedance-2.0-mini
  • doubao-seedance-2-0-mini-260615

Hidden models

GET /v1/models omits hidden and unlisted models. If a request returns 400 for an unknown model ID, list the catalog again and use a current id.
